Rifa stilling basin, storage volume freeboard increase

In the course of the storage volume increase of the Rifa basin in Partenen, extensive measures were advertised by the Vorarlberger Illwerke. The consortium under the leadership of JÄGER was awarded the contract as the best bidder and finished the work ahead of schedule in a very densely-packed construction programme. 1.3 km of strip foundations were constructed in 10 weeks. In the subsequent construction period, during which the water level was lowered, the entire auxiliary structures were completed and the asphalt concrete seal along the entire length of the crown was restored. The contracted construction work was completed in just 14 weeks.
