The Stern, Fontanella

In Fontanella in the Grosses Walsertal, JÄGER realised a very special project, the former “Alpengasthof Stern” (built in 1928), in which 12 new and spacious apartments were to be accommodated. All the apartments have a private balcony (wooden balconies with shingle cladding) or terrace; the three apartments on the ground floor have private gardens. The façade was constructed as thermally insulated façade with plaster or shingle cladding on a wooden frame. The Stern in Fontanella is centrally heated (fuel-saving and environmentally-friendly biomass district heating).
